Meet Our New Engineer – Dan.

Dan is a qualified Marine Engineer, with over 10 years of experience in the industry. His career with boats began in 2007 when he joined the Royal New Zealand Navy as a Marine Technician. During his career in the Navy, Dan completed a vast number of qualifications and training, working his way through the ranks to become a leading Marine Technician.

Since leaving the Navy in 2013, Dan has worked as a Marine Electrician on both commercial and pleasure vessels. He is a specialist in Volvo Penta engines and has continued to develop his skills by actively completing certificates and training in his field.

We are very excited to welcome Dan to the team at Orakei Marine and trust that his experience, knowledge and high-quality work will ensure our customers have the highest standard of servicing completed on their boats.
