The Lagoon 42 was awarded 2017 Best Boat of the Year by both Cruising World and SAIL magazines.
Adele 1 features an open-plan saloon and cockpit with a bulkhead helm position on the port side. A beam of 7.7m and a true LOA of 12.8m makes her feel very spacious and uncluttered both above and below decks.
Flush deck hatches and handholds in the coach roof make moving around her wide decks easy and safe. The cockpit features teak decks and has a large table and seating for all the crew and their friends with a cockpit fridge to keep the drinks cold.
From the helm position, communication into the cockpit and on deck is easy, and all sail controls and winches are neatly to hand by the helm station. There is a full array of B&G electronics, including autopilot, multi-function display, and VHF. The composite bimini has sliding hatches, so setting the sails (there is an electric winch to hoist the full batten square top mainsail) and trimming them is simple. The helm station and the cockpit have canvas and clears to keep the weather out.
With the upgraded 57hp engines, she will steam at 8.5 knots with ease. She also has an 11KVA Onan generator and a 3.4m tender with 20HP Honda outboard.
Please note: Adele 1 is currently in NZ on a TIE. GST and Duty will need to be paid if she is purchased by an NZ resident.
