Island Cruising NZ has been around for over 30 years, providing cruisers with support, education and connections for offshore cruising. They specialise in running yacht rallies to the South Pacific and coastal trips around New Zealand. Many Orakei Marine customers would love to sail to the Pacific Islands on their own boats, but haven’t done this before and would love the support of other boats and crew on the trip. This is why Orakei Marine is partnering with Island Cruising, to offer this support and planning to our clients.
There are a number of classes and courses leading up to the voyage to help you prepare. Island Cruising NZ provides you with all the information, itinerary and requirements that you and your vessel need to be safe and prepared for your trip. Sailing as a rally also gives you the reassurance that there are other boaties with you for support, and often builds life-long friendships along the way.
The next South Pacific Rally to Fiji and New Caledonia is planned for May 2022.
