It was certainly the best year at the show for Orakei Marine with four boats sold at the show and more deals still on the go. We signed up a Lagoon 42, a Velasco 43, NC11 and Merry Fisher 695, over the four days with a Leader 46 and a couple more Merry Fishers following just after the show.
The new model launch of the Jeanneau 51 was a success with many joining us for on the Friday night for drinks and nibbles to meet the new owners and take a tour of the boat. I think it is pretty clear to see that this range of boats from the French manufacturer are now widely accepted as a good kiwi boat for their practical nature and handling. More and more Kiwis are seeing this value over those that are still locally built, it’s just a matter of popping in to meet us and taking a test ride!
