Marina Facilities – Marina Operations – Apprenticeship completed!

Congratulations to Joe Mitai for recently completing his Marina Facilities – Marina Operations – Apprenticeship! This important milestone has allowed Joe to step into his role as Orakei Marine’s new Dock Master in addition to his responsibilities as Head Detailer. Joe’s increasing knowledge in the area of dock management and maintenance will be invaluable for Orakei Marine and Marina clients.

In only 1.5 years instead of the usual 2 years, Joe received his degree from MAST Academy with a warm handshake from Rob Howatson.

As Head Detailer, Joe is leading a strong 5-person detailing team that is now expanding their high-end interior detailing offer thanks to a number of new staff. Our latest addition to the team, Hilary Calder has 10+ years of stewarding on super yachts under her belt.
