It is with great pride that Jeanneau has the pleasure of seeing the first model of the new Sun Odyssey line, the Sun Odyssey 440, honoured with the European Yacht of the Year 2018 award in the “Family Cruiser” category.
On the first evening of the Düsseldorf Boat Show, which runs from January 20th to the 28th, 2018, the five winners of the European Yacht of the Year award were announced.
The European Yacht of the Year is awarded by twelve jury members – boat testers and editors from sailing magazines from across Europe – who tested the yachts nominated in La Rochelle, France and in Barcelona, Spain this past fall before casting their votes to distinguish the winners.
The Sun Odyssey 440 seduced the jury with her welcoming, seaworthy spirit: at once cosy and sporty, masculine and feminine, a sailboat as seductive on the interior as on the exterior.
The Jeanneau crew are thrilled to see their collaborative work rewarded by this fine distinction!
