Chase’n Tail is a premium blue water sport fisherman specifically designed to fish further offshore and do it fully equipped in style, comfort and convenience.

The 33-foot Rampage, Barta Canyon Edition center-helm features new design, comfort and capability with 1800 litres fuel capacity + 400L spare she has extended range compared to most boats of this size.  She boasts all the features you need for great fishing or cruising including reverse cycle air conditioning in the cabin and helm deck, with fully enclosed clears (replaced in 2017) to shelter from the elements and to be used all year round. The generous cabin provides sleeping accommodations for 6, a full galley and a head with shower.

The upper station (Marlin tower) provides bench seating, along with full electronics and second helm station. She is powered by twin 450 HP Caterpillar C7 ACERT engines which had a complete rebuild by Goughs at 1300hrs.  Gearboxes checked and serviced annually by Nigel Wearing. The 9kw Onan genset has been reconditioned by JB Marine.

Spec’d with all the gear one would expect from an ultimate sport fisher plus more. New Garmin electronics, radar and sounder. Cruising at 28 knots she has a full tower with outriggers, hard top with spreader lights, spacious 70 square foot cockpit, with 45 gallon lighted transom bait well, bait prep station with sink and plenty of freezer storage for your catch.
