This well maintained passager marker is powered by three Iveco Diesel Sharf driven engines. This vessel is a semi-displacement long-range cruiser designed for New Zealand sea conditions and offshore fishing grounds.

This 1989 Salthouse 17.7m Passage Maker is one of Bob Salthouse’s custom designs.

This vessel is a semi-displacement long-range cruiser designed for the sea conditions of New Zealand offshore fishing grounds. Powered by three Iveco diesel shaft driven engines, the main centreline mounted 350hp engine and 2x 150HP wing engines, which allow flexibility and manoeuvrability of choice to suit all sea conditions.

Inside, three big cabins make room for up to 10 people, plus three heads/showers and a big roomy saloon. The galley is fully equipped with a fridge, gas oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine.

There are three driving stations, the main bridge forward of the saloon, flybridge and aft cockpit.

2 x 150hp Iveco wing diesel engines (2100 hrs) thru MG Twin Disc V drives, Westerbeake 10 KVA genset (1450 hrs), Xantrex 1800W invertor, 2 x battery chargers, shorepower, Aqua Whisper Automatic watermaker (130 lph – needs service), 4 x 6v 265 a/h house batteries, 3 x N200 start, 1 x 12v genset, grey & black water holding tanks, Majestic Satelite dome, dvd player, 2 flat screen tv’s, Pioneer stereo system with USB & TV audio input, 3 station hydraulic steering, emergency steering, LG microwave, Asko dishwasher, 2 x fridges & larger freezer plus drinks fridge on flybridge (compressor & 240v), H & C pressure water (heated off engine & 240v), 3 showers, Smeg washing machine/dryer, Kiwi Vac integrated vacuum system, all bathrooms are completely moulded epoxy coved & painted white for ease of maintenance, fenders, spare warps, facility for dive compressor, 2 wheelhouse side doors, lifting davit for dinghy – manual winch, full exterior repaint app 2009. Has been in MSA survey.
