Sydney International Boat Show. This year the sales team went over to help out our Jeanneau Power partners Matt Willett Marine.
We manned the Prestige stand, showcasing a beautiful Prestige 500 Flybridge. The first of these models has now been delivered to NZ, along with a Leader 36, both of which will be presented at Auckland on water Boat Show later this year.
Along with a broad range of Jeanneau Power and the Prestige, Jeanneau Sail was on show with a launching party on the friday for a beautiful Jeanneau 54. Speeches from Erik Stromberg and Lee Condell welcoming the yacht to Australia and praising Jeanneau’s ever growing presence around the world.
We also had a chance to represent Lagoon Cats whilst we were over there, taking the opportunity to have a look at the hugely successful Lagoon 42 and 40 Motor Yacht in the flesh. The 42 has no availability until August next year with hull numbers already exceeding 150 within the first 8 months of release, bottled lightening by Lagoon once again. Speeches from John Cowpe of TMG launching the 42, and Lagoon’s CEO, Yann Masselot, thanking everyone for their continued efforts in making sure Lagoon maintains it’s place on top of the Catamaran market worldwide.
There was plenty of interest from many an Aussie, as well as several Kiwis who flew over to come and say hello. We invited a few clients over to meet with us specifically at the show, but there were plenty of Kiwis who came under their own steam, so there was lots to talk about and details exchanged ready for when we can back home to the correct side of the Tasman Sea.
