The owners’ of this Sun Odyssey 440 decided to opt for a bow thruster installation for ease of use when berthing, especially when the wind picks up.
They decided to go for a retractable thruster, to reduce the drag associated with a traditional internal thruster. This method offers a very responsive thruster that is quick to extend at the touch of a button at the helm station.

To update the look of this Riviera 43 the owner decided to lay teak on the duckboard. This also matched the look of the cockpit and was a simple but very effective improvement to the boat.
An owner of a vessel under our vessel management program came to us with a problem, a draft around the superstructure at anchor was making the cockpit cold. The solution; build some doors across the sidedecks that would stop the flow of wind into the cockpit at anchor. They can be opened while underway to minimize resistance and enable easy passage along the sidedecks. At anchor in the evening they can be closed to seal off the cockpit and keep everyone toasty warm!

As a keen Fisherman this Prestige 450S owner decided to add some kiwi additions to his new boat. So our qualified Boatbuilders set out to craft a refrigerated kill bin into the swim platform, 2x live bait bins, stainless steel railing with 5 gates, mounts for 2 bait boards, and 10 fixed rod holders. They also installed a cockpit tap and basin a mounting system to store fishing rods in the cockpit overhead locker as well as in the garage door for boat hooks and nets and they installed a bait freezer in the cockpit.
To create extra storage in the fwd cabin of a Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 439, the owners of this sailing yacht requested two cabins and a set of drawers for under their bed. The Orakei Marine boat building team set out to tackle this challenging task and have created stowage additions that look as though they were already there, check out the final products in the images below.
