Light, nimble and exceedingly quick, the Jeanneau Sun Fast 3600 was clearly a labor of love for the designers and builders. Easy to sail at speeds between 11 and 14 knots, off wind bursts to 18 knots. Race with a full crew or shorthanded.

** Recent race winner 2017 Doublehanded Round North Island Race **

Won PHRF Division 3 overall
Won PHRF Division 3 on legs 2,3, and 4
Won IRC overall
Won IRC on legs 1 and 2, placed second in legs 3 and 4

The Sun Fast 3600 was born to compete.

The Sunfast 3600 is a beefier and smarter version of the incredibly successful Sunfast 3200. It is easier to race both short-handed and fully crewed. She is mild-mannered enough, with sufficient creature comforts to allow some family cruising too.

Aggressive hard chines on the Sun Fast 3600 are the starting point for a refined hull shape designed to generate more power, but without adding drag. Underwater, the  J-shaped keel has a lead bulb that adds stability and power when sailing to windward. Twin rudders provide the kind of sure-footed feel you would expect, but without the characteristic heavy, almost sluggish sensation that often goes with them. Twin tillers provide a comfortable and secure seating position for the helmsman. Visibility is EXCELLENT from the helm

The deck is laid out for racing efficiency. There are short seats forward in the cockpit with low seatbacks. The mainsheet traveler is just forward of the tillers and spans the entire cockpit sole. This gives excellent mainsail control. Foot holds break up the cockpit sole for good footing when heeled. An exceptionally clean and workable deck layout.

*** This boat will be sold “as new” with a 2 year hull and deck warranty in place. ***
