This much sought-after 3-cabin, Owner’s version Lagoon 440 is completing a cruise to the Pacific Islands of Fiji and New Caledonia before returning home to New Zealand by late September ’23.

This vessel has a great blue water/liveaboard specification and comes with twin 75Hp Volvo engines with low hours (installed only in 2016 and 2019 [2019 engine has 700 hrs]), an Onan 9kva Generator, 1300W solar, supplying 800 Ah Lithium batteries (all installed in 2019) and a full array of Raymarine Electronics and Chart plotters (2019). There is a 5KVA Victron Quattro charger/inverter, a 90l/hr Dessalator watermaker and saloon and owner’s cabin air conditioning (aircon installed in 2021).
Olive’s interior is in Beech, with light crème upholstery. Her saloon is airy and light, with the trademark excellent all-round visibility that Lagoons are known for. To port is a comfortable and large L-shaped settee with a low table that houses an additional dual zone fridge/ freezer. The Nav station, with duplicate nav instruments and plotter, is starboard.
The aft-facing galley with practical s/steel tops has lots of counter and storage space and is fitted with a Westinghouse induction hob and a Kitchen aid multifunction oven. Another fridge and freezer, in the galley and saloon are complimented by a cockpit drink fridge.
All her cabins are ensuite, with large hull windows and overhead hatches to ensure ventilation, light and space. The spacious owner’s cabin takes over the starboard hull and can be closed off with a sliding door. The port aft cabin features a same-sized island berth with good storage, its own head, and a shower. The port-forward cabin features a double berth, an ensuite head and shower, and a second door to the passageway.
The flybridge on the 440 has complete all-around visibility, protected by a beautiful custom hard top, with a sliding hatch for sail trim and access steps to close the mainsail bag.
A Raymarine GPS plotter and multi-function displays are at the helm, with the mainsheet winch and other control lines at arm’s length. Custom stainless steel guard rails on the coach roof make for safe access to the mast. She has a full batten mainsail, furling jib and, for downwind performance, a gennaker on a removable furler and an MPS in a sock.
