This Ray Beale 11.6M fractionally rigged Sloop-Yacht built by Kearins Boatbuilders in Silverdale in 1997 has been kept in very good condition by her current owner and is the perfect racer/ cruiser for the Hauraki Gulf and Beyond. The hull is constructed of 18mm cedar core and resin bonded with fibreglass over both sides and the cabin top is GRP over high density foam. She is powered by a Yanmar D40 38HP engine. Well laid out with 3 double cabins and 2x berths in the Saloon she comfortably sleeps 8. With a roomy saloon and large kitchen there is plenty of room for long trips away. She has 5 manual winches with 1 electric winch on the stb cabin top. The rig was re-stepped in 2017 by Doyles Rigging and she was last out of the water in December 2022 in which the owner had her surveyed. The current owner is getting older and the kids have moved out of home so its time for Special FX to go to a new owner!
