The Cannes Yachting Festival in the South of France in early September was certainly an outstanding Boat Show! Jason and Drew had a great time browsing through the displays, and catching up with our Brand Managers and clients. This is the first time the Dealers and Brand managers have been together since pre-Covid.
A special highlight was the Prestige Awards Dinner – Orakei Marine won Prestige Dealer of the Year 2022! – something we are very proud of!
It was a very exciting opportunity to take a look at so many world premiering new boat models like the Jeanneau Yachts 65, the Prestige M48 and X60, the Jeanneau DB43, and the new Lagoon 51. Join us on a tour of some of the boats and watch our walkthrough videos below!
As part of the events in Cannes, the Prestige X60 won the 2022 World Yachts Trophy for “Best Innovation”. We’re sure it’s only the first of many trophies for this stunning model!
The unveiling of the new Jeanneau DB43 also deserves a special mention. It’s pretty exciting seeing Jeanneau step into the ‘Luxury Day Boat’ market. With some incredible features as well as clever spacious design concepts, the DB43 is truly a boat that suits the New Zealand market.
