Drew from Orakei Marine headed across the ditch to the Sydney International Boat Show 2023 in early August. Rumoured to have had a record number of boats on display, the Sydney event attracted plenty of visitors, including the many Kiwis Drew got to show around the Jeanneau, Prestige, Lagoon, and Wellcraft boats.
Among the exciting new models to explore were the Wellcraft 355, and the Jeanneau Merry Fisher 1295 Fly! See more in our walkthrough videos below!
Prestige and Lagoon were respresented on the TMG Yachts stand, while Jeanneau and Wellcraft Power Boats could be viewed at the Jeanneau Boat Show by MW Marine.
The sunny weather held only for the first couple of days but the ensuing rain didn’t dampen the spirits for the Lagoon event on Saturday night, celebrating the launch of the first Lagoon 65 in Australia! The show was also a fantastic opportunity to network with our Australian counterparts, and a catch-up with Tanguy from Jeanneau and Prestige, as well as Guillaume from Lagoon, who both came down from Hong Kong.
